oman: it is turning very highly urgent to look back to the olden days when the pioneers of the pentecostal movement lived by faith-self sacrifice-love-fellowship-sharing and sowing in tears and reaping bumper harvest of souls. we were attending an episcopal church but in my younger days, i was looking to attend the pentecostal conventions; whether ipc- church of god- assembly of god or the ceylon pentecostal, mainly to hear their vibrant singing clapping hands with heavenly joy in their faces. now, to experience that kind of singing, we will have to attend some slum churches of india. the love for the things of this world and love for fame and prominence have greatly penetrated the hearts of the leaders. when jacob was getting deeper into the worldly empire building enterprises, then god reminded him about the promise he made at bethel and warned him to go back to bethel. god is reminding us the same now; we need to obey that, else unexpected judgment will fall on us.

unlike earlier days when our forefathers led the christian life, has to undergo many hardships and do many personal sacrifice for christ to become an example for others. today, many false preachers, so called ministers has deviated from their prime objective and now god's ministry is done for individual gains and fame in this society by deceiving poor beleivers who are ignorant such facts. we need some one like prophet samuel to correct the corrupted leaders and to keep the world aware of such hard facts. this will help believers and church to identify wolf and sheep. to a great extent, pr balan was successful in creating good check and balance in the pentecostal community especially among the leaders by keeping them on watch.

We need people to correct us; but in a Godly way. It is not appropriate to write more than that at this stage. I hope that God will raise people who are courageous to report corruptions and decay in our churches and suggest methods to improve but in a more polite, creative, respectful and civilized way. My prayer is that none will use media/press as a means to threaten people or blackmail people just to make money. May the Lord Almighty comfort TS Balan's family.

What TSB wrote may not be 100% true but there is some truth in it.As we know todays so-called pentacostal leaders and believers are running after worldly things.Phil.3:18-19 says;For many walk, of whom I told you often, and now tell you even weeping, [that they are] the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is perdition, whose god is the belly, and [whose] glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.
Those who running after earthly things,they are the enemies of cross.I request you all readers discern but not judge.

Thanks STRAIGHTTALK for carefully evaluating my comments. Now our concern is not about TSB, but his family. Imagine if there is not a leader in the family, church, or country for correction. Opposition bench is always necessary. Sorry to say our churches are gone out of track. Only functions are there without fear of God. If the leaders are wrong, the followers becomes wrong. Give the pastors for conducting the meetings but don't make them very rich. Their bank balance in US and in India, are far more than yours. Don't give them while home visiting. Their salary, allowances and pension etc. are enough. While they live in palaces, their believers live in huts. Will they give five rupees to the poor believer? Why they are making house visits without their wives. Pastors will encourage false prophets on the stage. Believers, why are you afraid of them. There are exemptions too.

I respect t s balan for an extent. But he wasted his life for wrong reasons. Remember we have just one life to live and please use it for the glory of God. My deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Balan. I know how much they are distressed now. May our God comfort them.

We need some people (Leaders) to correct and guide us through the word of God whenever we/our people go out of track.But those people who guide us should also be righteous before God and men.They should not be money-gaining-targeted.

malayali pentacostals in us , its time for rependance.please leave all the hatreds.our lord is coming soon!let us prepare to meet him.think about hundreds of missionaries working hard in north india.each one of us should deeply think why the lord brought us to us. its a part of a divne plan about india.we know why god send joseph to egypt.not for fights and arguements.joseph loved his brothers and helped them even though they perscecuted him a lot!but future generation went away from the lord and god punished them!what ever we do, our generation is watching!let us come back to god and to the fruits of the holy spirit.

thank you bro aryapally. that was a decent report. i hope you have no more grudge against him. anyway bro aaryapally you have so much influence now among people and you have become a hero for lot of people use that for the expansion of the kingdom of god. don't write against the anointed ones of god that have being used by god. of course you have to write against corruption.by bringing pastors like noble p thomas to the pcnak you have taken a bold step.see how blessed the conference was. like these there are so many good anointed powerfully used men in india that was in the list of pastor balan. people were afraid to bring them here, because of that the american malayalees suffered.we pentecostal malayalees in us were pushed back spiritualy compared to our brothers in christ in the gulf, india and different parts of the world. we should all unitedly pray and work for the revival here and also to bring our fallen brothers to christ who were influenced by blasphemies .
