@ asm thank you sir for the warm welcome, i was at S&S Granites if you remember in Omalloor when this incident happenned in the afternoon around 4.30,it is truly sad and what has upset me is the fact that the people involved were planning a escapade when the neighborhood stopped them midway.Human courtesy demands the victims be attended to irrespective of anything. The developments in Kerala is challenging,there has to be a prayer movement that can bring in changes in every area of our christian lifestyle.I will email you shortly.

THEPRAIZE: So glad to see your comment after a very long time. The Omalloor accident is deeply hurting me because they were very close to my home, and this major tragedy caused due to the reckless driving to catch up with the election schedule took away many lives and put the whole village into an ocean of tears. When I called home, they told me that the lady's husband was helped by the Keralites in Saudi Arabia to fly to Kerala, he was landed in Delhi, but didn't reach home even after five days. Whether he has committed suicide is a great question. His father Gopalan was disappeared years back from home, very light hearted black smith family. Until the believers won't take a firm stand to wipe out this politically motivated election spirit in the Churches for certain positions to get name or a central seat, the whole Church would be declining spiritually, and the word " GOD or JESUS" must be removed from the Church sign boards.

just reached this friday from a real quick trip to india and my observations were alarming to say the least. i would as a civilized netizen restrain from writing all my observations however the developments in the pentecostal established organizations are very disturbing. i agree with brother asm,not one person at the leadership level is interested to even think of the lost soul,instead every single person i came across was busy with election campaigning which is more intense than our presidential elections,every single leader one can think is runnning for non relevant positions with stacks of currency notes and as many may have come to know about the car accident that took place in ommaloor last week,i was personally around that neighborhood during this incident, the driver was speeding to address a so called election campaign. all i realised is luke 18;8 calling my respected readers to stand up to the challenging times and stand for him for eternity

GRACE: Who is really concerned with preaching the gospel? Who cares for the non-believers? The pioneers of the Pentecostal movements in India and Kerala preached in the streets-suffered pain-lived by faith, and their hard work was honored by God and the Pentecostal movement started spreading like a wildfire. Now that vision is totally disappeared. Many positions are created in the Church, and fighting with tooth and nail to hold on to those positions, and lavishly spending God's ministry money and every other influence and tricks easily available. God's name is not glorified but trashed due to this new carnal nature of the believers and the leaders. How many Ministers have the habit of sharing the gospel to somebody sitting next to them in their travel? Churches and the believers are brainwashed in the "prosperity gospel" so the real gospel of the cross is a closed chapter now. We are indirectly caught up in the nature of the "Babel Tower" architects.

very sad to hear all these..pls do not say such competitions are Godly..our mission is to spread gospel to the world..not to get localised in certain positions and wasting tym.just think wat the non-believers will grasp from all these..and make sure tht u r not answerable to God for anyone who lose their Faith in Christ due to all these "show-off's".Just one request to all those who participate in this..pls take some tym and ask God if He is really happy of wat u r doing...please....

Biblereader: The new Pope of the Coptic Church in Egypt was recently elected exactly like the 11 Apostles did after the ascension of Jesus Christ. They put the list of the senior Bishops and one young boy picked the name. The 11 Apostles got tegether and prayed, the names of two people came to the list, Matthias got the lot and was elected. Stephen was the first martyr of the Christendom. It is terribly very sad to see how the Church leaders are elected in many denominations in India; many carnal factors are playing, and above all the might of the money power. And the next step is marching to the worldy legal system where the Judges who are not of any Christian faith make the final decision. GOD is greatly fed up with this march of egotism and pride of the world.

Electting able poeple for church leadership is not a silly thing
to conduct like lot picking from a pot. This is 21st century.
People got power to elect able poeple. BUT, if you do panelling, bribing or misusing power, its not Godly. There is no specific instruction in the Bible, how to elect people for the positions. Its all up to the organization to decide the election process. Holy spirit directs people for their spiritual growth, not for political power. God cares for His people, not the orgnizations corrupted by leaders failing in Class 7 and 8. (Adultry and Corruption).
