Rev.Dr.Baby Varghese Dallas IPC General Vice President!!:- You have quoted Psalms 61:2 in your condolence message, what relevance does that verse have for a condolence? "I am terribly sorry to hear the news", indeed it is a terrible sorry!!

Professor T. C. MATHEW, had a smiling face all the time and never ever expressed his ailments and sufferings at anytime! He was a humble servant of God,very true and truthful in his faith and believes! As a pastor he was very sensitive and sensible to the younger generation!

Started his career as a College Lecturer and then a Professor at Maharaja's College, Ernakulam. Later on in life, he devoted his time for the Lord's work,he was a shining star in the Lord's ministry.

I learned from my father that Professor T. C. Mathew was one of his students! We as a family had a long standing association with him and his siblings - T.C.Koshy, T.C.Itty and T.C.Mattai.

I am saddened to hear his passing away but jubilate on the fact that he is devoid of all trials and tribulations of this world and is with the Lord!

Prof: Mathew's demise is an irreparable loss and will be deeply missed by the Christian World!

My prayers are with the

pastor prof. t. c. mathew was a great man of god. being the member of ipc hebron, ernakulam in the past, i got the opportunity to have close association with him, since my childhood. his passion for the gospel of jesus christ has always surprised me and challenged me. he was always involved in the ministry in some way or the other. he never spent his time idle at home. he used his weekends, off-days and vacations to go out and preach the gospel. i believe that there was not a single village or town in kerala where the voice of pastor t. c. mathew has not been reached. he used to preach at conventions, open-air meetings and at the same time he has brought souls to christ through personal evangelism as well... i knew prof mathew since the early 70's. while i was a student at the maharaja's college, ernakulam, i used to attend his church near the railway-over-pass bridge. he was truly a man of god. my heartfelt condolences to josh, his sisters and their spouses and children. may our lord be near them in their sorrow, and let their sorrow draw them nearer unto our lord. now that earthly joys and comfort fail, may the things unseen and eternal grow more real, more present, more full of meaning and power in their hearts.

pastor t.c.mathew was my classmate and dearest friend.he was a true christian.i can tell without hesitation that he devoted his life fully for lord jesus christ.when we were studying at mar thoma college,thiruvalla, on every day he used to convene us (at interval) at a convenient place and teach us the word of god.really he had a passion for gospel work.whenever we talked to him we actually expereinced love of god.he was known as "upadesi"in the college circle (he was our college union secretary also).he did find time to distribute tracts among the students and tell about jesus christ.actually he was walking with god. his love and affection- his smiling face--i cannot forget. i will never forget the great help he had rendered to me several times.i can tell that" one who sees pastor t.c.mathew will defenitely see god through him". even though his departure is painful,i am happy that my dearest friend is with lord jesus christ.

Prof T.C Mathew was my mentor, Pastor and a fatherly figure.

He was an eminent teacher, audacious speaker, talented leader and a blessed Pastor. He was well respected and loved by Malayalee community around the world. His extraordinary teaching ability was well known to thousands of his students and colleagues in Maharajas College of Kerala University, India.

He served the Lord with vigor. He was a mighty soldier of the cross, carried the word of the Lord everywhere he went. He boldly declared the gospel of Christ in four corners of the streets of Kerala and college campuses without shame.

My family and our Church will miss his love, encouragement and ministry. But we have a blessed hope that we will see him in the other shore where he will shine as a shining star.

I met him for the first time while he was teaching in college. He was a great and strong believer with great passion for the ministry;

greatly involved with the young people of the IPC in those days.

Also a very hospitable and humble personality. We lost a great man of

GOD.
